Senior Assistant Merchandiser

Elite are parterning with an established womenswear brand, seeking a Senior Assistant Merchandiser to support trading and planning activity across key categories. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven Assistant Merchandiser ready to step up and take on more responsibility in a dynamic, fashion-led environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Merchandiser in delivering sales, stock, and margin targets.

• Analyse trading performance, highlighting risks and opportunities.

• Manage stock levels, intake, and replenishment to maximise availability.

• Assist with seasonal planning, option counts, and OTB management.

• Maintain and produce accurate weekly and ad hoc trading reports.

• Liaise with Buying, Design, and E-commerce to ensure alignment on product and trading decisions.

• Contribute to promotional, markdown, and phasing strategies.

About You:

• 3+ years’ experience in merchandising within fashion retail (womenswear preferred).

• Strong analytical and Excel skills with excellent attention to detail.

• Commercially minded with a proactive approach to trading.

• Organised, adaptable, and confident communicating with senior stakeholders.

• Ready to progress into a Junior Merchandiser role in the near future.
