Planner - NYC

Elite is partnering with a fast-growing global athleisure brand to find a Planner to join their team in NYC. 

The Planner will play a key role in shaping the financial strategy behind their product category interpreting and balancing current sales, inventory analysis, financial goals and emerging trends. In partnership with their merchandising counterpart, they maximise the success of their category by forecasting future product performance, analysing and reporting on in-season product performance, establishing strategies across channels and distributing the brand\'s products across the region. 

Responsibilities

• Develop financial and inventory plans — Create preseason sales, margin, and inventory forecasts by department, class, and style, analyzing past performance to identify growth opportunities and risks.
• Monitor and adjust in-season performance — Track sales and inventory trends weekly, recommend course corrections, and prepare updated forecasts to optimize profitability and stock flow.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration — Partner with merchandising, planning, and commercial teams to align financial strategies, assortment planning, and product flow for each season.
• Provide data-driven insights and reporting — Deliver regular business performance updates, financial analyses, and presentations
