Elite are partnering with an established and fast-growing womenswear brand is seeking a talented Junior Merchandiser to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven individual with a passion for product, numbers, and fashion to take the next step in their merchandising career within a creative and fast-paced environment. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Trading & Analysis

    • Support the Merchandiser in managing weekly trade and sales performance across categories.

    • Analyse trading data to identify bestsellers, underperformers, and emerging trends.

    • Recommend actions to optimise sales, stock, and margin performance.

  • Stock & Inventory Management

    • Monitor stock levels, ensuring the right product is in the right place at the right time.

    • Manage intake, deliveries, and replenishment in collaboration with supply chain and buying.

    • Track and maintain stock accuracy across systems and reporting tools.

  • Range Planning & Strategy

    • Assist in seasonal planning, option counts, and OTB management.

    • Support the development of balanced, commercial ranges aligned with brand strategy.

    • Contribute to markdown, phasing, and pricing decisions.

  • Reporting & Communication

    • Produce weekly and ad hoc reports for internal trading meetings.

    • Present insights and actions to key stakeholders.

    • Maintain up-to-date merchandising systems and documentation.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration

    • Work closely with Buying, Design, E-commerce, and Marketing teams to align on trading priorities and promotional activity.

    • Support planning and execution of new launches and key seasonal drops.

 

Candidate Profile

  • 3-4 years’ experience in a merchandising or assistant merchandising role within a fashion retail environment (womenswear experience preferred).

  • Highly numerate with strong analytical and Excel skills.

  • Commercially minded with an eye for product and customer trends.

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

  • Confident communicator, able to build relationships across teams and levels.

  • Proactive, adaptable, and thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
