Elite Associates is partnering with a prestigious french luxury brand to recruit an experienced and passionate

Department Manager for the Women’s Ready-to-Wear category

in their flagship boutique in Barcelona.

As a Department Manager, you will lead the Women’s Ready-to-Wear department, inspiring your team to deliver an elevated client experience and achieve ambitious sales goals. You will act as a brand ambassador, driving business performance and ensuring the highest standards of service and presentation are consistently met.

You will work cross-functionally with Boutique Management and HQ teams (Merchandising, Training, VM, and Operations) to elevate the client journey and enhance commercial performance.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Client Development

• Drive category performance through strategic KPI management (conversion, UPT, ATV, retention)

• Maximize CRM tools to grow and nurture a loyal client base through consistent clienteling and personalized experiences

• Ensure each client interaction reflects the brand’s values and delivers a memorable luxury experience

Team Leadership

• Lead, inspire, and develop a team of Fashion Advisors through ongoing coaching and structured performance reviews

• Set clear objectives, monitor KPIs, and promote a results-driven mindset

• Create a positive and collaborative team culture that reflects the Maison’s spirit

Product & Visual Excellence

• Optimize product rotation and visual merchandising to reflect brand storytelling and seasonal priorities

• Partner with Merchandising and VM to ensure best-sellers are highlighted and key looks are effectively showcased

• Monitor stock, propose reorders, and ensure flawless execution of product launches

Operational Oversight

• Ensure operational compliance and efficiency across the department (inventory, procedures, cash handling)

• Support boutique-wide events, activations, and high-profile appointments

• Maintain impeccable boutique standards aligned with brand guidelines

What we are looking for?

• Proven track record in luxury retail management, ideally in Women’s RTW

• Market knowledge, successful experience in a similar role and understanding of local clientele 

• Strong analytical mindset with deep understanding of KPIs, CRM, and clienteling strategies

• Fashion-forward, with excellent styling and trend awareness

• Inspirational leader with a talent for coaching and performance optimization

• Fluent in English and Spanish; Catalan is a plus

• Agile, results-driven, and passionate about luxury service excellence
