About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Assistant Store Manager to join our dynamic retail team. Our brand is known for its premium footwear and accessories that combine timeless style, comfort, and quality. As Assistant Store Manager, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the Store Manager to lead the team, drive sales performance, and ensure exceptional service and operational standards across the store.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead by example and inspire your team to consistently deliver outstanding customer service

  • Support the Store Manager in achieving and exceeding store sales targets and KPIs

  • Motivate, train, and develop team members to reach their full potential

  • Monitor team performance and implement individual development plans where needed

  • Uphold all operational standards, policies, and compliance procedures

  • Communicate effectively with the Store Manager regarding trade performance, team progress, and business opportunities

  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of new team members

  • Conduct regular one-to-one meetings to encourage growth and maintain team engagement

  • Build lasting relationships with customers to encourage loyalty and repeat business

  • Assist with scheduling and rota management in line with trading patterns and seasonal demands

  • Oversee stock deliveries, maintain stock accuracy, and support regular stock takes

  • Collaborate with the merchandising team to ensure accurate replenishment and product presentation

  • Maintain excellent visual merchandising standards in line with company guidelines

  • Organise and execute engaging in-store promotions and events to boost sales

  • Stay current with fashion trends to ensure the team delivers relevant product knowledge and styling advice

  • Represent the brand with professionalism and enthusiasm, ensuring all team members maintain high personal presentation standards


Requirements

  • Previous experience in retail management, ideally within fashion or accessories

  • Strong understanding of current fashion trends and customer expectations

  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to remain calm and solution-focused under pressure

  • Experience in setting targets, analysing performance, and driving results

  • Well-presented, confident, and professional at all times
